Handsome fold-out 1968 Conoco road map of Wyoming, printed more than 52 years ago.
This map opens to 18" x 23" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are inset plans of Sheridan, Laramie, Casper, Cheyenne, and a map of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1968 to promote its Conoco brand. It is dated in the legend, and the code number in the lower margin is 11-PP.
Little triangles locate Conoco service stations throughout the state, and those with a "TT" are travel trailer sanitary stations.
The attractive scenic front-cover photograph shows a father and son fishing on one of the state's rivers.
There's a Conoco credit card ad on the back cover.
Condition:
The map is in very good, lightly used condition, with a faint crease and minor spotting on the lower edge of the back cover and
no
