    Description

Offered for sale is a complete set of Continental Airlines silverware. It consists of a knife, fork, and spoon. The set has the Continental Airlines name on the bottom of the handle of the fork and spoon and on one side of the handle of the knife. For comparison's sake, the knife is approximately 8 inches long. The pieces are used, but in good condition, showing some normal wear.
Continental Airlines was founded in 1934 as Varney Speed Lines. In 1937 it began operating as Continental Airlines. It covered most of the United States and was headquartered in Houston, Texas.  On March 3rd of 2012, it ceased operations under the Continental name as it merged into United Airlines.
The pieces will be shipped to US addresses only via first class mail. If you desire additional sets, that always results insignificantly reduced shipping costs per set.  With multiple sets, wait for me to send you an invoice before paying reflecting the correct shipping charge.
    NOTE
:  As the seller and buyer both agree that the US Postal Service is an acceptable means of shipment, should the shipment be lost by the Postal Service, the seller and buyer will split the loss, resulting in 50% of the total payment to be refunded to the buyer by the seller. With hundreds of sales I have never had a shipment lost by the USPS, but just in case.  Also, the amount charged for shipping is always more than the cost charged by the USPS.  That is because eBay charges 13.5% on any money collected for shipping.  For example, a .00 shipping charge to the buyer results in the seller netting .32.
