NALDERA
The P. & O. S.S,  Naldera
is believed to be one of the
most luxurious and attractive
vessels yet designed for the
Indian and Australian trades.
She is 15,800 gross tons, length
605 feet, breadth 67 feet,
moulded depth 47 feet 4 inches,
and is driven by two sets of
quadruple expansion recipro-
cating engines, developing
18,000 h p, and a sea speed of
18 1/2 knots. Striking features
of the Naldera and her
sister ship the  "Narkunda are
the handsome public apart-
ments and the great expanse of
the sheltered promenade decks,
where passengers find rest in
comfortable deck chairs or re-
creation in deck-games, etc.
